ARLENE ALTMAN
This prolific stitcher has enjoyed many forms of handwork over the years,
including knitting, crochet, weaving and tatting. Arlene has been a serious
needlepointer with decorative stitches for at least five years. She finds
oriental canvases to be of particular interest and also enjoys gold work and
Kuminimo (Japanese braiding). Most canvas enhancement classes at Quail Run,
especially those with national teachers, include Arlene, as she is constantly
striving to learn new techniques and stitches.
